Where to get OMC 800 Stringer outdrive/Upper Gear Case?

We have our first Sea Ray Sundancer, our beloved 1982 Sundancer 260 cabin cruiser, where can we get either used, rebuilt, gears....any help appreciated. Husband can do anything mechanical, and itsn't afraid of the elbow grease, it just appears that these parts are a bit harder to find. We have the lower units pulled, and hoping to get something by next week. Thanks all, Cheers!

Try Ebasic for gears, castings etc, Doug Russell Marine has new and rebuilt drives. Ebay is always full of parts for stringer dirves.

I had twin OMCs on a 28 footer. The marina that worked on them had a large client base and lots of old parts. They were able to keep the OMCs running. They said parts from Evenrude and Johnson would work.
