Where or how can i get a new transom bench backrest piece?

West marine said theres no after market for something like that. For a 96 sundancer 270. Pulled the transom mounted backrest off on the bench for reupholstery and I found a lot of damage....

A reputable canvas/upholstery shop can make you one. That will probably be your only option unless you are handy and can make it yourself.
