Where is the "Free" Raymarine planning software

I am trying to download the "free" raymarine Raytech software I read on the forum, but can't seem to find it on the Raymarine website. I want to build my routs on my PC using the Navionics card reader and then upload them to my C80.

Is this the best/cheapest way?

I had problems finding it too. I found something that is listed as "Old RayTech Planner" and downloaded it. It was a while ago and I tried downloading the latest version but couldnt get it to work. I ended up with version 6.0

This is for this:

It costs $10, and I can't see a download option. Is this the right one?

Click on the downloads and update tab which will bring you to another screen with the free software, when I did it, a couple of minutes ago, it was the only software download there. If you do not have a license key you can only use it as a planner.

no cost, I don't remember but I think you need to get registered and have your C80 serial number to do so

You're right, you need to register first and get a login id, then you can access the free downloads.

ANDREASW - Let me know what you think of the software, I don't care for it. The Garmin computer software is much better, too bad I can't use it for my C80.

How do you load the navionics chart with raytech on your pc??
Some people told me not to use my c80 CF card with the multicard reader thing or it may erase the whole chart.
