Our boat came with what I consider to be a large cockpit table and I would like to purchase a smaller one. Where is a good place to get one online. BTW - below is a pic of the table I am replacing incase someone is looking for one. This picture came from the cockpit of a 480MY.

There are a bunch of places to purchase tables. All you need is the top since you can remove the hardware from the old one. I personally would save the old one just in case. Try a Google search or even just check on West Marine' website for tables. A nice teak or cherry table top would look nice!

Our 40MY came with the table below and we consider it too small for our needs. Based on the pictures, it looks like to me that yours is considerably larger, perhaps we could swap the tops. I think I'll be able to measure mine tomorrow so we can compare the sizes. PM me if you're interested in pursuing.

If you're patient, I'd highly recommend trolling eBay for a nice wood top. I replaced the fiberglass tops in my bridge and cockpit last winter and as Ken said, all you need is the top. I reused the hardware from the old tables and stored the tops "just in case". The bridge cockpit is a large maple table with compass inlay while the cockpit table is teak. I had my local canvas guy make felt backed sunbrella covers which both protect and double up as nice card playing surfaces. Both new tables are drawing tons of compliments and I'm very satisfied withe upgrades. The other thing I also did was get rid of that domed fiberglass base and permanently installed the top out of the base, into the floor of the cockpit. You lose portability, however I think I gained stability and esthetically. I'll post a couple of pics next week.

Jackie,

I need a table as well. If you don't mind can we see some pics of your tables?
Thanks,

This table top was made by Scott Samuelson at Swimplatforms, Inc. He was considering making them for sale and made a bunch but never really tried to sell them. It is made of really solid fiberglass and pretty heavy duty. the last time I was there he had a few oval and a few rectangles. I don't know what he still has but if you like the look you might contact him at www.swimplatforms.com. Tell him Shawn Murphy mentioned them to you.

I purchased the base for my table from P W Marine here on the CSR site.
Got the pedestal leg and hardware from Garlick.
Had my local countertop guy make the top and did the install and varnishing of the wood edging myself.
