Where is 290DA fresh water pump?

Driving myself nuts trying to figure this out. On our 1994 290DA, the water system just stopped working. Oddly enough there is no light behind the cockpit switch for the water system anymore, but there is power in and out of the switch, so I'm trying to trace the cause.

I'm reading a lot about accumulators, filters, etc. but I need to find the pump! I've looked under and behind just about everything I can, tried tracing the gray water hoses as far as I can, I'm just finding nothing. Where is my pump?? Much appreciated...

Mine is in the aft cabin, under the seat cushions on the port side. You have to remove some screws from a large horizontal board, and underneath is the water tank and the pump and the filter. I think the '94-'97 are the same hull, but I have no idea if your pump is in the same place. Might be worth looking where mine is.

Excellent, much appreciated! I thought I had gone through that entire aft cabin (water tank, port side panel, etc.) but never pulled that one up. There it is under a separate panel, power going to it, no water flowing, clean strainer, so looks to be time to replace the 15 yr old pump.

Update - replaced it with a 3gph ShurFlo (with my 9 yr old sticking his finger in the water pipe while I did it), works perfectly (quieter too). Much thanks again to the CSR forums.
