I did a complete tuneup - plugs, caps, rotors, and coils. Now both voltmeter gauges are not working. Where do the leads go to? I must have knocked them off. Thanks.

The gauge at the helm gets its reading from alternator, which should be just a small plug (If I recall it's usually couple of wires).

I know this is a little bit old as posts go but On mine according to the schematic there is a nine pin engine harness behind the console that has a violet wire that goes through the emergency shutoff switch then back to the engine compartment. It then is attached to the coil. Violet is the color used for ignition hot and if it is not powered then no much is going to work. If your engine starts then it is probably a lose connection on the gauge. Also the violet wire supplies power to all of the other gauges.

Here is a list of standard Boat Wiring color Codes that may help. Good luck with it, I hope this helps you out.
