I have winterized my 340 Dancer and I am unsure where to set the battery switches (or the solenoid) in the panel inside the cabin.

I have a port battery switch a starboard battery switch and a generator battery switch.

I am thinking I leave these on to keep the batteries charged during the winter but I don't want them to get drained or weak with overcharging and no use.

Ideas?

I don't think it matters- aside from the fact that their may be some negligible drain if they switches are "on". On the 280, the charger bypasses the switches and charges the batts directly. So, damage would only really result from a bad charger.

I turn all of my switches and all of the breakers for ac and dc circuits to "off." Seems to work just fine.
