Not sure about other marinas but my marina in Westbrook, CT is pretty sparse this year. Last year, there was not a slip available. This year...probably 15 slips open on my dock alone....Strange because from a business standpoint, North America is up a healthy percentage from last year...Weather???

The marina I frequent every weekend (Bullards Bar, Tahoe National Forest) filled all available slips by May 1st. I guess it'll be overnight dock tie-up fees for me this Summer...

We're full here in Central PA with a waiting list, Mike.

We keep our boat on base at NAS Patuxent River. This year about 1/3 of the slips appear empty. I say appear because those boats are on the hard. With federal furloughs coming, a number of folks have decided not to put their boats in the water this year. We are in the water, but have cut way back. Instead of cruising up or down the Bay we are staying local and anchoring out. Next year is a big question mark.

MarineMax Brick seams to have more boats on the hard this year than any year I recall. Much of it is due to Sandy. Many owners are taking their time to splash their boats unsure that all the driftwood and wreckage have been removed. You're fine as long as you stay within the channels.

I asked about a slip in Comox last year. Over 1000 people on the wait list, turn over was about 5 per year. If I put my name on the list now I could be in there by 2213.

All full up in Kelowna. Waiting list isn't too long apparently. We have empty slips, but that's because the Alberta contingent haven't all put their boats in the water yet!

we got 1 of the last 4 slips on the nice (quiet old people) dock
I saw their diagram in the office ...looked like about 40 still available on the party docks
