Whens Your Shrink Coming Off?

Told the office today to get that crap off my boat ASAP!!!!!
Well she’s been in the water all winter but I need to get cleaning.
Hopefully this is the last time our boat will see shrink wrap.

Shrink wrap came off a week ago but now i have to wait 3 weeks for them to turn the water on.

My cover came off 2 weeks ago and the canvas is up. Batteries went on over the weekend. Hoping we don’t get a spring snow.

I normally take the cover off in April.

Not so fast.....

This is not an April fools joke..Will be watching a strong cold front make it's way across the northeast on Monday. Precipitation likely to change to a period of wet snow.

Looks like I'm in the clear. Just rain.

I think I will be waiting a bit to take the wrap off, it has been in the teens at night for the last week and here it what my dock space looks like.

This is Lake George in Northern NY. We have had for the most part a old fashioned winter, it has been cold and snowy from mid January right up to now. The ice fishing is still going strong! Most folks put their boats in around the beginning of May and take them out the end of September/early October.

Took my cover off in western NY today. 50+ degrees I figured why not. Even if we get a little snow it won’t hurt it, I’ll leave the crap cover on for a while until it’s polished and waxed

Just got the notice from the marina that they are taking off shrink wrap starting late next week!
I won't launch till mid May though. I want to touch up anti-fouling and buff/wax the hull below the rub rail and that's easier on the hard, especially touching up the anti-fouling ;>).

Have to replace the canvas track on the back of the arch, so I figure to leave the wrap on until I can put the canvas back up. Then first order of business is resealing behind the starboard rub rail and deck joint if needed. Was getting water in the hanging locker by the mid cabin and also under the cushions in the mid berth !
