Okay I specifically went looking for a thread of this nature as I am looking at a 2006 315 Sundancer but it is reported to have 1400 hours on the mercruiser 5.0L engines. Now this sounds like a ludicrous amount of hours to have on these engines in 4 years of ownership so I have asked for clarification on the engine hours. I think there has been a typo and they have added one to many zeros. 
Well I hope that is the case otherwise this boat has had a hard 4 years of work.
