Looks like a PCV valve to me. I don't think it needs to be super tight, it's just a vent (if that's what it is). Where does the other end go?

Yeahpperr...I'd say it's exactly as it should be. Fear not...just keep the plug in the hole.

I'm not sure it's supposed to be that kind of hose but I wouldn't worry about it one bit either way.

Thank you so much. Case closed

It may have are popped out because it has gone bad, they are cheap, I would replace it. It is a crankcase ventilation valve.

Totally fine just the way it is (that corrugated plastic tubing is actually pretty much the norm - or, at least, not abnormal). If YOU popped it out (which I think is what you are saying), put it back in and leave it alone. If it popped out by itself (and continues to or is obviously not sealing well anymore), then follow Bahama's advice.

It would be a good idea to remove and clean that flame arrester. It will restrict air flow to the engine.

And check the condition of the belts. That black dirt is usually belt dust from the belts wearing. They may need replacing.

Yeah just replace or clean the PCV valve out and clean it with carb cleaner just make sure you hear it rattle and back and forth or just replace

Most likely it’s just an elbow in the valve cover.

Don’t be surprised if it’s not an actual PCV valve.
