What's the longest you've had a pet live?

Our cat nailed a Norwegian Roof Rat yesterday.
Concerned of the cat picking up some loathsome disease,, wife busted out the cats shot record and he turned 20 in April.
Never gave it much thought,, he's always been around sluggin' rats and gophers for as long as I can remember.

We have had a cat live to 22, I used to own a Macaw that was somewhere around 65 when she died.

I had a shetland pony that lived until he was 47 We knew his actual age because he was registered.

I think my Mothers cat is as old as her ... 88yrs old. :wow:.

Our first "child"... a Bichon Frise... 22 years... I think he lived that long because the admiral never let him walk... or at least it seemed that way...

My current Dalmatian does a great job catching rabbits... and moths...

We have an 18 year old cat, that I wish had died 2 years ago....he keeps hanging on, and the only issue he has is that he doesn't like to use his litter box any more.

Yea, what's up with that?! We currently have a male cat that will be 19 next month. He's not really doing all that well anymore and everyday we check on him, we wonder if he'll be around. 19 is a long time; he's been through a lot with us. But the litter box thing is very frustrating...

We had a Persian cat make it to a month shy of 20. Was deaf at the end, and had a stroke, so I had to put her down. That was a tough day for me.

We had a cat that lived to be 21 and 1/2 before we had to put her down after a massive heart attack. She was our baby.

How timely this thread was...Well, our beloved cat I mentioned previously left us for good on Saturday afternoon, he had just turned 19. As far as cats go, he was a fun one! I'll miss him.

I had 2 cats
old "Cat" was 22 when she passed and "Critter" was 20 got them both as kittens.
Cat got her name because there was no sense in naming something that wouldn't come when you called it LOL
I miss them both very much RIP
