For me, so far it was a 2012 mercedes AMG Mclaren SLS
Rated at 220 mph, 0-60 in 3.0 secs at a cost of $225k my heart was pounding for hrs after our ride.
I own a Mercedes and this car made my car seen like a Hyundai,,, it beats the ferrari's and Lambos bye about 2-3 10's of a second . The fastest thing on wheels i have ever experienced. 4 turbo chargers and you set the car in "race Mode" or "track mode" absoloutely ridiculous!!!!!!

Holy crap the owner said it was around $225k and he ordered the last droptop roadster off the line for almost $300k he has an extensive collection of both Mercedes and others, dating back to a 1959 Mercedes , that i know of.
 
Joe, that is a sweet car... I'm jealous. Love the sports cars but living in the country they are not practical. Ill stick to my pick up truck...
 
Jason my buddy whos driving just sold his BMW M3 for a new Ram 1500 truck, we also enjoy our trucks here in NY. Hunting, fishing ,camping, Gotta have a truck.
 
I went to Viper training and worked on them regularly
but the fastest was my '64 Plymouth Sport Fury

Do you have a pic of the 64? In 1969 I had 64 426 Hemi that ran in SS/BA back then it ran it's best time of 10.36 131mph at the Winternationals in Phoenix lost to Sox & Martin semi- finals sadly no pics they were all burned in a fire. Fastest I've been is 6.18 et 221mph in a AA/Fuel Altered Nostalgia 47 Fiat Topolino.
My brother has a 2011 Mercedes SLS AMG nice car lot of bucks think he paid around $220.000 new.

Im talking street legal cars, my neighbor races a highly modified z06 vette with a full shop in the trailer (as a hobby) im sure he'll beat the SLS in a 1/4 mile also but you cant drive it to work right from the drag strip like the benz
 
My old 57 Chevy......raced weekends "D-Gas" and actually drove it to the local drive-in weeknights for some back in the 60's street racing. The hilborn injectors was a ***** to start and run but what fun, did not lose many races :grin: I would not recomment slicks on the street however, handled like mush. Loaded up everytime I slowed down like at the stop lights, locial police did not like me at all. If ever I do this again, I'm going to run a Blower, much better idleing and responce! I wish I was 16 again.
