1987 she's a old girl that still makes me HAPPY to be with her

Should be 2007 to 2008, and I proofed it I thought!

Looks like about 40% of us are forgetting to choose "new or used" in addition to selecting the year.

I'm more interested in that statistic than the year...

'89 here. If I had genset with A/C and twins I would be happier. This is a starter boat for us to see if we liked the scene. Well, we LOVE IT!!! So gonna be in the market for a 290 AJ for it's Fishability in year or two. Need to finish building my house first (AUG??).

PS Compounded,Polished, & Waxed starboard side today. Port side tomorrow.

Sorry I messed up the vote... add another to "bought her used". 94' 330 SD. We absolutely love her, but go figure...had her only 2.5 yrs and my wife wants a bigger boat. What the heck is up with that, I thought you bought one boat and stayed with it forever? I'm sure none of you have dealt with this dilemma, but I'll gladly bear the burden for all of you in not having to "sell" my spouse on a bigger boat. I'll take one for the SR team and just give in.

Come on sun!!!

Absolutely...it's ALL HER idea. I wouldn't dream of coming up with something outlandish like that on my own. (would I?) That's what kept us happy for the past 20+ years..."when she's right, she's right"...right? Well, at this point, I think I'm confusing myself, so I think i'll just agree with her and start looking for a bigger boat. Isn't great when they "say" what were "thinking"... the only problem now is paying for it:smt021

I'm looking into the 290 AJ in the future for its fishablilty. You can't fish the 340 SB right?

Oh I can fish with it fine. It has the outriggers, 6 rocket loaunchers on the 3/4 tower, and 4 holders around the gunnels. No problems here..... Actually it was similar to my AJ except it has 2 more rocket launchers and the outriggers. As far stability goes, the AJ was a VERY stable platform for it's size, but the 340 is more so....

Thanks for the response. My wife wants more stability in our next boat. Your response boosted her confidence.

I actually want an 11.5 beam DA (widest beam to trailer with out escorts) but can't see how it can be fished comfortably. No Bait well/station, no built in ice chest for take home fish, etc. The rod holders is the easy part. Then all the seating is in the way. I'm still on the fence. For sure I'm gonna upgrade to at least a 290 AJ. If I can resolve the above then 300-320 may be an option.

'81 360 Express... LOVE HER!!! Can't beat the 14' beam!!!

BIG BUTTS ROCK!!!
