What truly is the very best mildew remover please?

I've also had success with spray nine. Another option is tilex bathroom cleaner. Bleach will destroy certain fabrics, cotton especially.

Ms Brit, I found this earlier today. Baking soda and vinegar, also Simple Green. Just remember, no bleach it can destroy the stitching

Alot of our cushions had mildew stains two years ago. My wife sprayed some "spray nine" cleaner, and wiped with a "magic eraser". Cushions looked like brand new. Down side is once you do one spot, you will need to do the whole thing. Even the spots that didn't have mildew, that I thought were clean, came 10 shades whiter. When done go over everything with "303 protectant". Two years later and still looks brand new. You would never know the boat is 16yrs old.

Used same process on 11 year old fenders, also look brand new!!!

I should note fenders and cusions were white. Try a small spot first.

Spray Nine has always worked well for me. It has bleaching qualities but doesn't contain sodium hypochlorite.

Magic Eraser is a great product, but it is abrasive. Use it carefully.

This is the very same process I have used on all my boats. You don't need to "scrub" with the Magic Eraser and most of the time don't need it following Spray Nine. The 303 is a must for long term protection.

I have used Mold Armor with great succes...it is very powerful. As noted above, always follow up with 303 Protectant

Exactly, we just used the magic eraser like a sponge. No need to scrub!!

I have also had great luck with Spray Nine. I detailed a friends boat last spring and the results in cleaning the surface mold and dirt were amazing.

Thanks everyone once again for all the helpful advice. Hoping to get to the boat this week-end to try and clean the vinyl up:)
