As I was leaving the boat yard, came across a pub that was having an Ice Sculpture contest. Harry Potter.

Thanks for Posting James... we enjoyed our walk and I hope you all enjoy the pictures...

Maybe you do but me I packed the car at 3:00am and headed to Florida that's what I do on a 18f day but it was down close to -30c while I was packing the car.

They are very nice, hope they last a long time so everyone gets to see them. I think I have ice cube trays that can also make some of them. :)

Very cool. I'm about as artistic as a concrete block, but I do enjoy looking at the art others create. Thanks for the pics.

Cool pics, It sucks living out in the country we have nothing like that out here. :smt021

I can takes some pics of -3°F cold cows .

Will they break if you tip them over?

ka10xd, My father and I drove through Portland Riverside on Sunday (the day I noticed the ice sculpture event going on), but had been there on Saturday for a couple of hours. Is your boat inside one of the garages or outdoor stored?

Nope, my boat is almost right in front of the office, about one row back. A couple of sailboats are in front of me. If you go to the web site listed in my signature, look under the tab for winter cover. You can see what the boat looks like covered up. I am there almost every weekend after 12:30 is or so working on the boat. If you see my Suburban parked there, come knock on the hull. I am inside working with the heat on.

I will have to keep an eye out if I head over there one of these weekends. I know there are a few more items I would like to grab, so I very well may be there in the next few weeks.
