I have a 1998 330 sundancer and want to replace my transducer for depth/temp.
I see different degree units available and don't know if mine is straight down or need one that is calibrated for an angle.
Kinda need a fast answer because my engines go back in on Tuesday.
Thanks

I believe it has to do with your dead rise angle?

Are you looking at flush mount through hulls? According to Sea Ray owner resources you have 17° deadrise. They also make transducers which use a fairing block. Are you replacing an existing transducer? It may be easier to drill a new hole and leave the old one.

I want to do a thru hull and have an existing thru hull.
It is dead center and may actually be 0 deg.
I need to by one that will be compatible with modern Garmin equipment.
I am afraid to remove the old one but even more afraid to cut a new hole.
Gunna do some further investigation tomorrow.
If anyone has done a swap please offer some advice.
