thats what it felt like..I had the breaks on I think my trim gages are bad cause they both show up I hit the up an down hull buttons and the gages stood on the up position did not move??? I have to find out how to thrim the boat I not going to take her out again I'll just take her out for the season have to winterized and cleaned then I will have someone pro trim her for next season... Tanx for the replies...:thumbsup:

Yes if your boat's been in the water since May and this is the second time you've taken her out, then you have I'm sure a whole aquarium of life below the waterline. Haul it, scrape it and with that much time and potential growth you may need new paint.

Probably best he doesn't go anywhere "fast" right now. I would hire a captain to show you around the boat and teach you how to operate it.

Are you trimming the drives up or down? Sounds to me like you're trimming up to get on plane. That doesn't work... make sure they're down (trim button down).
Also, if you do have any growth on the hull... clean it off then if you can, moor with the stern in the shade so the drives aren't in direct sunlight. The growth is much slower in the shade.

did the nose of the boat ride real high?

here is a thread about a trim pump problem. could be similar issue. didn't realize that neither pump would work if one blows a fuse as described here.

yes the nose rised high i do reside in NJ soth nj... I had to training on this so its all new to me I spent more time doing and installing tvs doing amy cusions redoing the insade that I did not know about the monsters of the hull. Wow wish I new this in may...the marina i'm at is not that good on info for i'm in a fishing an saling comunity...no one to ask wish I had a sea ray boat near by.....

Ok, from what I can decipher you put the boat in in May and did not run it again until September. That means you did use it on MEMORIAL DAY then not again until recently.
Several issues: Due to the warm weather this year we have had greater barnacle growth than usual in the Northeast. My guess is that your hull and other below water line apparatus are all extremely fouled. I hope you at least had bottom paint.
The other problem you state is the guage not moving with the outdrive adjustment. There is a sending unit on the outdrivve as well as an electrical stop switch. These are notorious for failing and usually only last a few years. It sounds like yours is in need of replacement.
I am not sure if you really have this problem or if you are someone just messing around on the message board here but, if you are for real that is my advice.

I'm so baffled at deciphering this thread I started drinking my coffee up my nose. After the burning subsided I went back and tried to read it again. And they say the schools in Florida are bad? :huh:

I literally have a headache. People are attempting to help you but can I suggest a little effort in proof reading your posts first? They are incomprehensible. And, more importantly, if you are unfamilar with marine growth and have been afraid of using your boat all summer because you don't know how to PLEASE PLEASE go get some education to protect yourself and the rest of us on the water. Nothing scares me more than a "boater" who doesn't seem to know much about a boat and boating. It not like flying a kite. Please, educate yourself before you turn those keys again.

Someone please explain why minimal testing and licensure isn't required to operate a boat??

Steriltech, if you get the Firefox browser, or some other browser with a built-in spell checker, you will see the words which do not match up with known dictionary words being underlined in red as shown in the picture below.

I think some of the confusion with regard to helping you with your problem is that it is hard to interpret exactly what you are saying because of your spelling and grammar. You can see that there are a lot of people trying to help you. Please consider making the effort to communicate with them in something a bit closer to U.S. English.

One other item I can guess at is the tabs will not work is due to perhaps barnacle growth also, if he fluid levels are correct.

I asked where he was from because it seems as though his posts are a web translation from another language into English. I was sitting with a guy who spoke French in a class once and he was typing in simple sentences in French into a language translator and it was coming up with some really goofy stuff in English.

Try this:

Go to Google translate and type in "I have barnacles on my hull". Translate that into Bulgarian, and then copy the translated output. Paste that back into the text box, and translate it from Bulgarian to English. The result is "Barnacles have on my body".

So, I think we can safely conclude that he is not W!ng1e$$. He is obviously Bulgarian.
