All,

Any suggestions on the size of cooler to install on the 185Sport engine compartment? I have a 62 quart rectangle cooler that will not fit. So last night I bought the 60 "Ice Cube" cooler. That might fit if I took apart the engine heat shields. Suggestions?

Those "Ice Cube" coolers suk. Plan on replacing the ice every couple of hours if you ever open it. Our Ice Cube cooler is now a planter in the back yard.

Just a suggestion, measure the area you have, then go look at coolers that fit within those parameters.

We just keep a cube cooler in front of the rear seats.. dont use the coolers under the seat, they are not insulated well at all.

I beg to differ about the coolers beneath the rear seats.... I added them to my 06' Sport 195 to free up some floor space and they have worked wonders! They keep everthing cold and they hold ice for about a day or two....

Now if your looking to keep ice for 3-5 days, that's a different story.... But I don't believe that's what the underseat coolers were designed for....

It gets old real quick stumbling over ice chest in the bow and the floor space in the boat.

Are you serious?? We were on the water for about 4hrs and all the ice was gone! I should ask my dealer.

Been out on the boat today... ALL DAY... Since about 11:00am... Came in about 8:00pm....

Still ice in the coolers.... How much insulation is on your coolers?

I've found them to do very well for a days outing on the boat....

May have to check that out....

i have the coolers under the rear seats as well, they keep everything perfectly cold and the ice stays good for the entire day and then some.

I bought 2 of these. Makes it real easy to get them in and out. It's an igloo max cold 36. 21.99 each at Kmart and they keep ice very well.
