I have a 2007 230 select 350 mag with the Bravo three. The props on this unit are a 28 pitch, my planning out seems to take a while and top end rpm's are around 4500 with a top speed of about 45 mph with 4 on the boat and 50 gallons of fuel. New to I/O power packages and would like to hear how your boats perform. I realize we need to compare apples to apples.
Thanks!!!

Did you check the prop chart on Sea Ray site to be sure you have the correct props?

45 MPH & 4500 RPM sounds a bit low. Are you triming your outdrive? You should see 50 MPH or more. I typically get my best top speed trimmed up around 50% or so.

I had a boat 22' with the same engine and turned 4800 at 45 MPH with load and drive trimmed up. Your top speed seems about right.

not sure this is revilement but the 230 7.4 runs, 43 gps mph, at 4300 rpm, at 6000 ft elevation. it has 26 pitch props with the 2:00 drive gear. still calm glass water no breeze, will pull 3 mpg average. bow to stern slip price length is 24'8"

this is a older boat with weight of aprox. 6000 lb.
