what prop would be best for my 76 srv 240 with the little 188hp 302

like it says im interested in suggestions for a prop on my 76 srv 240. i have the mercruiser 302 with 188 hp and i was told by the previous owner that the prop he has on is not ideal. however its in the water and i cant check to see what prop that is at the moment

That's a heavy boat with a low power engine. I would recommend a 14.5x15 3 blade stainless.

The Sea Ray WEB site, it takes a little digging but, they have the prop charts posted.

If he has a pre-alpha like mine I don't see how a 16 can fit. I run a 15X19 on Oldskool but I could use some more pitch. What ever you run you should be running around 4800rpm wot with an 888.
