This is from the dome light on my 02 260 Sundancer. Think it's the 12v bulb? I want to replace it with a high quality led bulb

Argh phone didn't post the image. Has two bare metal wires/prongs coming out of it for power.
Thatd be it! Have a big trip coming up and want to do all bulbs to save power heat etc.
So what bulb would be the best replacement for this one? The cabin fixtures have this bulb in them.View attachment 39712

I went with the cheap ones and replaced them all with Marinebeam. The quality of light is a step apart and well worth the extra spend.
I am going to try this one. It is from Marine Beam. I have tried 2 others that just did not put out enough light. This one had a considerably higher lumen value(300) than the others I have tried. It is called a G4-21 Ultra Bright LED.

To loop this back around, I searched to find my answer before posting a new thread.. I wanted to know the total wattage of the ones inside my cabin ('99 310 DA). I bought 20 Watt versions online, and they were exact replacements, but run very very hot, and weren't as bright as the others. Perhaps they're 25 or even 40 watt. I want to buy LED ones to match, but I really don't know what wattage I have. If it's close or brighter, I won't care, but LED I definitely want to go.
I have forgotten most of what I learned when researching LEDs. Seems they like to rate them in lumens. Google it and get some idea of what you are looking for-you can see how many lumens a 30 watt halogen is and look for an LED of comperable lumens. I mostly bought the cheapos off of ebay and thus far, have been very pleased. No heat issues and brightness is very good. I do remember this....I initially bought a few of the "cool white." They should be renamed cold white-very cold color. Went back with "warm white" and that was what I wanted.
