Found this behind where the coffee maker was originally installed on my 500da (1998). I know its a voltage transformer but for what ?

Those kick down units are all over the place on my boat too
Got a read out showing exactly where and what all the nameless electrical boxes are and where they are located. Like regular photos. Got it from the folks at Marrett Island customer service.
