I just bought this boat and it has 21 pitch props.Only getting around 3900 RPM @ WOT.... A pig to get on plane. Need help...Thanks!!!!
what is correct prop pitch for a 1999 290 sun dancer with twin 4.3 fuel injected

I thought 21's were high pitched for 4.3's but that is what they spec.
You say you just bought it, there is a whole list of things that could be the issue: still running original fuel from boat purchase? fuel filters clean?, bottom clean?, ignition components worn?
If it has been sitting a long time before the purchase the fuel could be the issue.
I would be sure everything is clean and in-tune before trying different props.
