What is 'AC Converter' on electric panel

Is the AC Converter rocker switch on my AC panel just the on board battery charger with a fancy name? Not to be confused with an Inverter.

You are correct. The converter changes the batteries when you are plugged into shore power or have a running generator with the panel and converter switch on.

Battery charger. Keep it on whenever your at the dock with the battery driven accessories on like the cabin lights, fresh water pump, radio. It will keep the batteries charged while these items are drawing from them.
