What do you look for in a slip? Is a covered slip important?

1. As Trebeck used to say in commercials Price, Price, and Price.
2. Not many covered slips in upper bay. But the few times I transient stayed in one, the boat came home with spider shit all over and furry critters.
3. Water deep enough at extreme low tide I ain’t in the mud.
4. Protected no matter how bad wind, storms come up.
5. Did I mention Price?

one thing I really don’t like about my boat that SR only did for a few model years is the molded in platform. Looks sleek but trying to get on it from a finger pier is a bitch.
My first SR was a 1990 and loved it... had an extended swim platform on it.

Wife wants to know cost of the x-platform. Parts and installed? Sure makes boarding easier, and a place for the zodiac.
Go back to post #30, read under pic, you’ll see why she wants to know.
