Looking to touch up some areas on my 97 250DA - Anyone come across something that matches the factory grey color? Everything is staying in place and just have minor touch up to do.

Thanks

I find the Bilgekote Gray to be a very close match, has a bit more gloss than the gelcoat but blends well.

If I'm not mistaken Sea Ray calls it "oyster". Should be able to get it from Spectrum.

Jeff,

Are you saying that Spectrum sells bilge paints? Have you tried it? Does it work well?

I re painted mine when I replaced the engine and found bilgekote gray to be a close enough match you can't tell the difference.

The "bilge paint" is actually gel coat. Spectrum sells gel coat paste repair kits as well as quarts of gel coat for brushing or spraying. They offer pre-matched colors for many boat manufacturers and as I recall the color for Sea Ray bilges is known as oyster. I just used a paste kit this weekend to fill some holes in both heads where we removed the Sea Ray soap dishes and tooth brush holders. The paste from spectrum was a perfect match for the bone color in most Sea Ray heads/showers.
