What are these? I have these to attachments on the dash and gunwhale of my 380DA. There doesn't seem to be any wires attached to them (I haven't checked the one by the speaker). I have seen these on other boats, sensor?? Any help is appreciated (service tech didn't seem to know what these were, either!).

Looks like touchpad control for a relay block. I have seen something similar to this at AutoZone, I think teenagers with rice rockets put them in their cars to control misc. custom crap they install.

Could be something the previous owner installed? Did you buy new?

We just bought this boat last month, came out of NJ via Florida to it's new home on the south shore of Lake Michigan. I've felt around the dash mounted one and I don't feel any wires. I believe I've seen these on other boats, just guess I never paid much attention to them.

The spotlight remote is on the right photo at the very top (cut off in pix). I dont see why 2 of these things are mounted within the space of 4 feet? (both accessible from the helm seat).

maybe they are mounted using velcro?
4 buttons: up, down, left, right? volume up/down, station tune? alarm on/off, panic mode?
definitely not autopilot :)

They look like magnetic cell phone holders. They glue on and the 4 circles are magnets for holding your cell phone. It came with a cover that had a picture of a cell phone on it, but the cover fell off showing the 4 magnets. The small bump on top is supposed to look like a cell phone anternna. You can take it off and probably use acetone to clean off the glue residue.

if it is true - I feel so stupid:)

I was sort of hoping for the stripper pole and lights! :(
Will see if they are magnetic when I go out tommorow. (PS I checked auto zone and a couple of other places and I could not find anything that resembles them). Thanks for everybodies help! - Jeff

Now that you moved up in size, what dock are you going to be on in Hammond?

Move on over to R Dock and join the crowd.

Dan

And the winner is Dani-Lu! Nothing connected to them, and yes they are magnetic (at least they hold keys!). Still somewhat disappointed that there isn't a appearing stripper pole and lights (my sone was EXTREMELY disappointed that was not the case!).
Daniel - we moved to T dock (at least for now as S dock will not be completed untiil late this year due to ice damage). We were O dock refugees from the Casino expansion. - Jeff
