What are the blue hoses?

I don’t have them on my engines and I’ve worked on other boats that don’t have them. I’ve never seen them before.

Could this be some sort of modification for raw water flushing? If so, what about the manifolds, risers, & raw water pump area? Why not just convert to fresh water cooling? Again, I am totally guessing what these blue hoses are for.

It does look like a flushing manifold to me. I agree it should have FWC if it's in saltwater. Anyway, that bilge is filthy.

Could just be that the flame arrestor cover is 'cocked' a bit....makes the whole motor looked crooked..

The smaller blue hoses go to a common manifold to a larger blue hose. This is the same each side. The starboard engine has the larger hose toward the stern and the port engine the large hose faces the bow. Both of these go to the port side of the boat. But where do they go from there. I have no idea what they may be but sure as hell curious.

My guess would be a fresh water flush system, but since I don't boat in salt water - how the heck would I know???
