Have a wet water spot under my starboard side cabin table.

Nothing that i can see dripping from under the table or any where around the spot

measures about 3" round, not soaking wet,

but wet anyway.

felt under , around, all over the area and can't seem to see where its coming from.

Any idea's would be appreciated.

What is located directly under the spot? Could water be wicking up through the carpet to make the wet spot?

Mystery leaks are the worst. The spot where water settles is a lot of times not in close proximity to the source of entry. Water simply finds the first level spot. The good news is there is typically a finite number of places water might enter. Get on the bow and give the area a thorough spraying to see if you can make the wetness appear under the table. You should wait several minutes after spraying as it may take some time for the water to work its way to the spot. Do you notice the wetness after a heavy rain or washing?

I would check the seals around the bow rail stanchions on the starboard side as it may be possible that water is seeping in between the base of the rail and the gunnel and sliding down the side and settling under the table. Check the bolts on the bow rail for tightness as well. Make sure your starboard portals are tightly sealed.

Put some paper towels around the perimeter of the spot - at least a few inches away. Tape or weight them in place. If the water is coming from another area, this will show it. This won't necessarily solve the mystery, but it will give you direction.

Anything directly overhead?

If all else fails, just blame Pat.
