The PO has a nice system installed and it looks like it was all done very well. I have been working on the boat this winter and last week I noticed that the starboard bridge speakers were not working. I believe they have been working up until then. I looked into it this morning and it seems to me that the Amp is not putting out sound on channel 4 which is the Starboard bridge speakers. I have switched inputs fronm the stereo to the amp port to starboard and when I do the port speakers work. I wired the starboard bridge speakers to the port bridge speaker output (channel 3) output and they worked. There are 4 30 am fuses on the amp and all are ok.
So my question is am I out of luck with this amp or can something be checked/repaired? Is it work trying to get it repaired or do I get a new one. I have no info on the install by the PO so I assume I have no warranty.

Thanks for your time.

Sounds like a dead channel. Not good.

If you swap the left and right (or chnl 3 and 4) RCA and the problem stays, then the input is good

If you swap the chnl 4 plug with say, chnl 3 or chnl 5 and the suspect speakers play and previously working speakers now do not, you proved the speaker wiring and speakers are good,

I would note the chnl 3/4 setting, then exercise all the dials and switches. Sometimes a little corrosion can build up and cut out a chnl. Sometimes some contact cleaner spray and compressed air to blow them out will help.

I previously did the steps you noted above with no success so I will try exercising the switches and dials and see if that works. Thanks for the ideas to try.
