Congrats on selling the boat, but like others here I am disturbed by the number of "lifers" who are selling....
Although truth be told, if I could sell my boat and not take a beating, I probably would too. The cost of fuel has me looking at trawlers and sailboats...I'm afraid for my sanity.

Congrats John...mid-life crises don't last forever but the financial and emotional damage they inflict can last awhile. Don't ask how I know ;-)

Cruisers are a money pits -- no question about it. I miss mine but I have no regrets. This weekend I'm looking at a mint 1982 Ski Nautique for $4500 -- it keeps me on the water and won't drain my wallet. If all goes well I will be back on the water Monday or Tuesday.
