Westerbeke rubber isolator play?

Hello, Just getting ready to put my backend of my genny back together and noticed that the rubber isolators that mount underneath the generator have a whole lot of play back and forth and also up and down. Nothing seems to have excessive play so I am wondering if this is normal to control vibrations? Any one ever have this apart and notice the same thing? Thanks.
