4.5 bcgtc on a 99 Sundancer.

No noise at all when trying to start. I tried shutting off the switch below the manual preheat and start switches on the controller. No luck yet. Can’t find a general reset which I think there should be one somewhere.

The tech manual on line shows this pic of the 20a circuit breaker. Where is this?

Get a mirror and look at every square inch of the unit. The circuit breaker will be spray painted red which makes it very hard to see if you do not know where to look. Took me a while to find mine, but once you know where it is located, you can operate them by feel.

That isn't your model. That is for a BCGTE and you appear to have a BCGCT. On your model the 20 amp breaker is directly below the Start/Stop switch on the front of the generator. There is a removable 10 amp fuse on the back of your generator that can also pop.

I'm not sure what you mean that there is no noise when you try to start the generator. If it doesn't make a sound....it is far more likely that the battery switch to the generator is not switched on.

Look at the pulley end of the motor. Facing the stern, on the right side of the of the motor look about halfway down. You will see a red reset button. It will only click when you press it.

I can post a pic tomorrow.

That is on the right hand side of the box with the generator information on it from the picture.
