I have a diesel Westerbeke genny. Anyone know what the fuel filters post numbers are? Does the water separator use the same Racor filter as the mains?

Most boats of this era used Racor 500 series for all three engines.

Those filters are 2010pm for 30 micron, 2010tm for the 10micron, and 2010sm for the 2 micron. For the generator you can use the same as the mains, or go with a 10 or 2 micron.

Thanks Dave! I have Racors for the mains, just wasn’t sure about the genny. Isn’t there an inline filter for the generator also?

There is a little paper canister filter, but I have no idea what micron rating it is. I usually use a 10 micron in my Genny Racor. It’s basically a “fuel polishing” filter for the STBD tank. Could also use a 2 micron as well

The CAT on engine filters are 2 micron, so a 30 Micron is a good choice there.

My westerbate diesel genny has an inline filter mounted to the engine and a 30 micon racor.
