Westerbeke 15 kw problem

Did anyone have problem with there generator ? Mine runs fine for an hour are two then starts running real rough like dirty fuel filter i have changed both filters a few times they don look bad also have checked the oil, check the water flow , pulled and checked the inpella good. i even changed 200/gals of fuel and added new fuel, crank up runs fine for a hour are two then back to lower rpm and running rough . I also checked the fuel pump good flow of fuel going to the injectors. ??? running out of this to check any input ?

I had a similar issue with my 7.6BTD diesel this Spring. Turns out the lift pump was intermittent. When it heated up it would not pump full pressure. When we looked at fuel flow cold it worked great but after it ran for a while it was a mess. Easy fix.

Also put a vacuum gauge on the fuel supply as close to the generator as possible. You may have collapsing fuel hoses or plugged pickup in the fuel tank or issues with the fuel selection valves. The fact that it starts and runs fine then begins to choke and run rough alludes to fuel supply issues.
