I had 2 cans of this fail on me tonight. Both cans would not stop spraying. I have spray on the back of the boat, the underside of the swim platform, my arms, and ruined a pair of jeans. I returned the cans. Had to argue with the manager but finally got the refund. Sending an email to West also.

I have used the Trilux 33 spray from Interlux and I followed the directions exactly as listed on the can. What a waste of money and time. The paint would only come out in two second bursts. Then the spray stopped working with over half a can left. The paint came out from under the nozzle and left a huge mess on the ground. I drove 20 miles back to the store and they gave me a new can only to have exact same thing happen with this can. I shook the can as the can stated and this can stopped spraying and poured out under the nozzle all over my hands and the ground. I am surprised Interlux puts their name on this product. The nozzle needs to be redesigned.

I switched to the Hydrocoat ECO and roll it on with excellent results now. I will brush the hard to reach places. While it's not for the faint of heart at the cashier, I use one paint for everything and it cleans up easy.

i have a post somewhere here with pics if interested.

I use the West Marine outboard anti-fouling spray paint on a well point that is suspended from our dock. We water the lawn with lake water and this prevents zebra mussels from clogging our intake. Other than being very expensive (49 bucks), the product seems to perform as advertised. Been using the spray can product for many years without any issues. In fact, I installed the well point this morning. The coating makes fall clean up a breeze. The slime wipes right off.

I love this stuff. I do the whole boat in it every 2 years and recoat the outdrives every year. I paid 215 for a gallon shipped this year and I thin it slightly with water, 1 gallon easily does the whole boat that way. I actually have a little left over for touchup and I raised the waterline. I use a habor freight electric power washer to clean in the fall and all the junk comes right off. We boat in a very silty weedy freshwater bay so the growth can get bad.

My response from West Marine was they are sorry for any inconvenience and apologize. That was it!! One sentence...SMH
