last year there were like 10 boats and they rafted for about 2 hours. There were 5 times more sea rays in croton outside of the palooza that in the palooza. Maybe this year might be better...

Are there any other gatherings in the area. Just got my first boat this year and thought it would be nice to get out there and meet some fellow boaters.

Yeah, there are lots. I would grab boating on the Hudson mag and see what things they have listed. There are also a ton of people anchored in croton. You can also look at the get togethers on this forum. Chelsea piers MM also has things they organize.
