Were boats near/around Ashland Va. affected by Hurricane Sandy?

I'm looking at a used boat near Ashland, Virginia. I'm wondering, were boats flooded there during Hurricane Sandy in 2012?

I'm from Michigan, so I'm not sure how bad things were down there.

Ashland is an inland location, a suburb of Richmond, and wasn't affected. However, Ashland is also the location of Commonwealth Boat Brokers, which sells used/repo boats from all over. Including places hard hit by Sandy.

Remember, where a boat IS is no guarantee of where it WAS.

Sandy did not do much damage in that part of Virginia, but if you're looking at boats from a dealer there, they are a repo outfit, and may have brought in Sandy damaged boats.

So, is there a CarFax for boats, so you can look up where a boat was titled?
