My father has a 02 Formula 292 Fastech with twin 6.2 Mercs. Last time we took it out the port motor was weak. Found out today it has a bad piston. Guess it is time for a Long Block. Boat is for sale and now with a bad motor we need to fix it before trying to sell it. More money down a rat hole. Anyone want a nice twin engine 292 with only one motor for a good price? Drives and the rest of the boat are almost perfect for a 10 year old boat. Anyone know of a good place to order a replacement motor. It that 6.2 the same as the 383 stroker long block.
