Someone offered me a great price on my Sea Ray 170 BR.. I just got it , but I really think a deck boat or pontoon is a better option at this time in my family life. I love the Sea Ray and I cm going to lok for a bigger one maybe a 215.. Anyone got any recomendations? My little boat is nto sold yet. but well on its way.. Maybe I should have charged more...lol

Will do thanks for the advice..:)
Would love to own another Sea Ray . Can't say enough about how much I like the 170..Really hate to lose it. but I have a 1yr old adn still have to pack the house to go anywhere...lol

Lucky for you, the 240 can hold the house! And has a potty for the kids!

I might be persuaded out of a pretty unique 240....

I had a 170 too. Now have a 3 year old and needed something bigger. Went with the 1991 Sea Ray 225. It has a porta potty and is big enough to plow thru some good waves. Look for an older boat. It is a lot cheaper. It took me a year but got it for $13,000, New, I believe a boat this size is over $60,000. Could not justify that much money.

We have a 2 yr old and our 185 is great, but am looking forward to buying a deck boat. I really like the nice lounge seating up front, and more room never hurt anyone. We will keep our 185 for another year or 2 though.

I sure liked my old '99 230OV if you can find one of those or a slightly older '95-98 220OV, they are nice as well.

Well the lady that was gonna buy it is having a hard time coming up with the fundage. So now I got my eye on a Wake tower/ bimini for the boat.. I think I may just keep it. I really like the 170.
