Weekender Owners (advise please)

Hello all. I'm a first time (future) boat owner looking at Weekenders from 2001-06. I want to use the boat for both sports (tube, wake & ski) and overnights. The weekender seems to be the perfect answer. I am 6'1 and a little concerned about cabin size on the 225 and I am a little concerned about pulling my kids on the 245. I read a couple of posts and it sounds like with the right i/o combo there should be little trouble with the 245. I have checked out a cabin on the 225 and it feels a little tight. I cant find any specs on the cabin size difference between the two so if anyone knows i would appreciate the info.

We have the 215WE which is the same as the 225 except for the extended swim platform.

I am 6'0" and the cuddy is a little tight for me. When we overnight on the boat, the admiral and daughter (17 yr old) take the cuddy and I stretch out on the stern seat. When the daughter has brought along a friend, we place a inflatable mattress (single) on the deck in front of the stern seat.

As for towing a tube, we have not had any issues with 5.0L MPI. At times, we have even pulled two.

I had a 2001 245 weekender . . GREAT boat. I pulled tubes with 300 pound football players on it. This is without a doubt a perfect boat. My 280 is great for overnight - but cost out the nose to pull tubes.
