With the admiral’s birthday being divisible by 10, she wanted to do a whale watching tour. Scratch it off the list thing as she’s caged dived with sharks and gone dolphin watching already (but without me, while traveling for work).

For the weekend, we headed towards Boston, 5.5 hr drive from Central New York. Thought I’d share some photos. Based on fluke and fin patterns, the tour announcer said we crossed with 12 distinct whales, which were all known with names. No more than 4 at a time, they split and merged numerous times.

I started a navionics track at the dock and stopped it when we turned to head back. Snapshot of that trip track included because I don’t know how to export the play by play video from the Navionics app.

Tomorrow will be the aquarium and wharf before heading home.
