What iPad weather apps does everyone use while underway? I'm a pilot and use Sirius Weather but pretty expensive for another subscription. Looking for something that I can display on iPad separately from other fixed screens so I can keep my eye on the weather if things get dicey. Thanks everyone!

I like sailflow for wind data.

Thanks everyone. I downloaded Windy, Predict Wind and Dark Sky today and are going to test them out this weekend on a run from Venice to Longboat Key. I have the NOAA apps but Windy and Dark Sky sure have some cool features. I'm more concerned with what's actually happening around my vessel at the moment and what's just up ahead for decision purposes. Forecasts are great but the weather changes rapidly in SW FL.

I use Myradar and PredictWind. I cannot stand the NOAA apps. Complete garbage IMO...

EDIT - I also use the BoatUS app for buoy data. Easier to get wave info vs the NOAA pages...

Are you going to longboat key club? Too bad we’re in NY for another 2 weeks I’d love to see your boat. Have a great trip check on mine while your there.

Actually we're planning on going to Oyster Bay and anchoring with some other boats and taking the ding to St. Armands for dinner and music and spending the night at anchor. If we get to Longboat we'll have a look and take some pics.

Hey I see you have a Nouveriana 360. We're just starting the hunt for our RIB. How long is your 360? We found a 11 ft Nouveriana with a 30 hp 4 stroke Yamaha and seems like the right length. I'm a little concerned about putting one that hangs over too much for docking purposes

We just sold that same model 335DL with 30 hp Honda wanted a bigger one the 360 takes up most if not all of the platform with the 40 hp hanging over a tad. there’s enough room to walk off the platform port side.
I’ll post pics grab a mooring ball at marina jacks and hit the town.

Very Sweet! And thanks for the specs! We have a lift so I think.well have plenty of room even with the RIB on it. And love your illumination and that white canvas up on the bridge. Well done!

Wind Finder app. Can't live without it, BUT......I should have looked this morning before running from Bowlee's up to Bridge Tender to retrieve a passenger's script sunglasses from yesterday's run. It was honest to God 19-23 knots HARD out of the South. We had no idea at the canal. Took the cat, and she did fine, and as a native from Sarasota, I've never seen 2'+ rollers in the channel around the old Buccaneer. Incoming tide against a howling wind. 2 footers at the dock, and breaking at BTI. We did not get the glasses, aborted the try and took it on the beam for most of the ride home. Never got wet. The Angler wins for breezy bay runs. We will try again Tuesday.
