Weak NATO or good decision ?

An ukrainian airdefense missile trying to intercept russian attacks near ukrainian - polish border accidently strucks polish territory and kills 2 polish citizen .

Yes it was an ukrainian missile but of course all this happened only due to the russian aggression at all .

Whatever - a NATO country was struck by military action and lives lost .

We heared all these NATO leaders strong words - the US president words - that every inch of nato territory will be defended and now i see they all cannot run fast enough infront the cameras to shout it was not russia , all is fine (and no consequences will happen) .

I of course do not advocate ww3 but this looks awfully weak and fearful for me .

Whats your opinion , weak nato or wise decision to not stand the ground ?

These are very tough questions to answer. There is a fine line between portraying strength and provoking nuclear war.

In my opinion, we should be racing to create more effective missile defense systems, including for ICBM's, and from space is necessary. I know the whole 'hitting a bullet with a bullet' argument. But someone will figure it out, and it better be us.

In the meantime, I think we should be flooding the world market with oil. That is good for our economy, will help greatly to collapse inflation, and is bad for almost all of our opponents and enemies, namely Russia.

Cheap oil will starve Putin's war funding. We should be doing this instead of borrowing money by the billions to write Ukraine (a very corrupt system) endless blank checks.

It seems very unfortunate, but both parties and the state department seem hell-bent on fanning the flames of increased and broadened conflict that contains a very real risk of widespread nuclear war. And they are greatly harming both our economy and currency while doing it.

These are very scary times. Like the previous two world wars, we find ourselves on the verge of another because of the immorality and/or incompetence of a handful world 'leaders'. 8 billion human souls hang in the balance of the decisions of how many people?

Your question sucks...'weak nato or wise decision to not stand the ground'? It seems you're always leaning toward getting into something when neither you or your country have the ability to carry a fair share of the weight.

What the hell do you want to do, start WW3...if Russia didn't attack NATO why should we respond? What's there to respond to if they didn't do it? If it makes you feel better maybe Germany can lob their two hand grenades into Ukraine...you know, show 'em you ain't a country to be fucked with.

The only thing that sucks is your offensive speech while i was not offensive to you in any way .
