Hello all,

Our boat is in dryland storage on catawba island. We took it up before we had a chance to get her waxed, and now we are running out of time. Does anyone have a suggetion for a person or company that offers this service in the area?
Thanks in advance.

They do a good job and have a resonable Price. Most of hte dealers up there use them for their detailing services

Thanks Zorba,

I had emailed them twice a month ago and hadn't heard back. I wil ltry to get in touch again.

A friend has his boat detailed by Mirror Image and I must say it does look good. He decided to store with them this past winter in heated storage and has been less then thrilled with their communication and response to his requests. Again, though as to the detailing, I would say I am impressed.

I know a guy that does it. See castaway Yacht sales in the old bassest store where boat US used to be on 53 he is looking for new business.

What do they charge typically. Here in Maine I heard the do about 18!per foot. Ouch

is this right ?

Call Anchors Away Marina 419-734-1395 ask for Atlantis's number it is a husband and wife team that detail boats. Nice work.

I have a buddy with an 06 320 and he is very picky....and he swears by Mirror Image.

This year, I hired my buddy's college-aged son and his two pals to do my hull and topsides. They charged me about two-thirds of what was quoted by Mirror Image and Marine Max, and I must say...the boat looks the best it ever has. This kid is the "captain" of his family's 62-foot Buddy Davis and he has forgotten more about boats than most owners ever learn. Fantastic job by a couple of very hard-working college kids with a King's ransom in polishing equipment, including a stainless orbital buffer.

I finally got a quote back from Mirror Image...Let's just say 18/ ft would be a good price compard to the quote I recieved.

With detailing companies, most of the time you get what you pay for. The cheapest ones are fly by night and probably wont be there next year.

I agree completely as I own a service oriented company. I admit that I didn't know what to expect, but was a little suprised.
Thanks again for all of the input.
