Ha ha , you are correct, however, the end result is well worth the effort. It's basically a 4 step process. Compound, Polish, glaze wax...

Looks great! I have a good base to start with this year. Here it is sitting at the yard getting an outdrive service. Have some scuffs to take care of and definitely need to invest in some socks for the fenders!

That looks great! Without seeing a before we don't know how oxidized it was, but now it looks about flawless. I am a big fan of the pewter hull with black - classic looking. I should get a closer picture so you can really see it, but mine turned out pretty good also this year. I changed it up and went with the Starbrite polish with PTEF. One coat of the cleaner wax followed by the polish. Initially just as good as the Meguiars Flagship I have used previously, but have heard good stuff about Starbrite.
