Waterskiing with our 250 DA

Sunday I got our niece up on skis. What a treat for her, and for me.

Since the 250 is as big as I think we can go and still get skiers up, anything bigger will have to wait until we no longer need/want to ski.

I am able to get on plane fairly quick with my 280SS, while towing a tube containing two adults. I think my boat may be a few pounds heavier than a 250DA. I think the ability to ski with bigger boats may be a function of engines and (more importantly) outdrives.

There was a long thread about a 280DA with T-4.3 and Alpha I, vs a 280DA with T-5.0's and BIII's. I suspect the later boat will be able to handle skiers just fine.
