Last night I was driving the boat home and the forward bilge light was cycling on and off. Today I let the admiral drive and went down into the bilge to see where the water was coming from. I didn't see any water until I increased the power and got the nose of the boat up. Then I saw water entering the engine room from a hole where the water pipes exit the engine room and travel into the salon. A lot of water was coming out of the hole. The water was clear, probably from the holding tank, or plumbing associated with it. I went into the aft cabin and pulled up the hatch in the bottom of the closet where the hoses run through and where the flux gate compass is mounted and was shocked to see a couple of inches of water in there. No idea at this point where the water is coming from. I will start taking it apart soon.

Anyone have any ideas or thoughts? I know the L shaped tank has had issues cracking, but I have never experienced a wet floor in the aft cabin, which usually seems to be the symptom.

Thanks,

Pete

Check that the drains from the air con units are not blocked and are in fact draining correctly, simple test, poor some water in the pan under each air con unit and see if it drains into the sump correctly.

Amaxing where that water can get to if the drains are not working properley.

Otherwise, check that all the snap together hot and cold water pipe fittings are pushed properley together.

Yeah, I took the plywood lid off of the tank and there was about 4 inches of water surrounding the tank. I sucked it all out. Was about 10 gallons or so. Got a fan blowing air in there now to dry it out. Looks like I have a 1" crack in the corner of the tank at the top. POS. Not sure the best way to go about repairing or replacing the tank. I don't want to just fill it 3/4 and live with it because we stay out on the hook a good bit and we need the water and I can never remember to turn the hose off before it overflows. Lol.

Anyone have advice about repairing the tank or replacing it. I want it fixed for good.

Thanks,

Pete
