My 96 7.4 lt carb sundancer is running at 165 degrees in 47 degree water does this sound right?. This is our second year with the boat and I cant remember what it ran at last year.

The thermostat is normally a 165 degree set, so sounds perfect.

Thank you very much. All excited last fall with new boat the old memory just couldn't recall reading on gauge. I think a drop of colored paint on all critical gauge readings might be the way to go lol. Thanks again you put my mind at rest.
